It was more difficult to install than most cabin filters, partly because of the Leaf's poor design, but also because the filter is more durable than others. After placing most of the filter in the slot (2 inches left), I stuck the underside of the right edge all the way through. Then I folded the top of the right edge into the slit almost "jackknife" down. Releasing the pressure allowed the page to straighten up and snap into place. The filter seems to do a great job removing contaminants and odors. Yesterday I was stuck in a garage with lots of cars idling waiting to get out. I briefly switched the air conditioning to outside air to see if I or my passengers could smell exhaust fumes - none of us could!
