I should have noted that this replacement motor wasn't what I needed but the model was the same. I was very upset when I discovered an important difference between the original engine and the replacement. Some had the same problem, somewhere compared to the original models the shaft was changed from a belt drive to a chain drive. Didn't realize it until I got a new one, disassembled the scooter and saw it. It took a bit of effort, but I ended up taking the old bell body out of the body and putting it in the new one. (on the old one the magnet went out of place). Not for a newbie to try this and it was unnecessary work but didn't want to spend another 50 on the right one or bother with the return process, time is money. Most people won't even read this review or try to bypass it, but be careful if you own one of the early e200 models.
