I had internal stye that I had to treat with a 20 minute warm compress four times a day. The stye has turned into a chalazion that needs compresses for another 4-6 weeks. Warming up a damp washcloth in the microwave and keeping an eye on it at work was inconvenient and embarrassing. I bought four packs of these babies and wow they work great. I cut an old towel into rectangles the size of a heating pad. I wet the cloth and activate the heat pack. It takes over 20 minutes. The packs have a little dial that you press until it activates. Then massage in the resulting gel. So easy and convenient. The button is difficult to press, so I moved the button to a corner and pressed it with a non-sharp object (rounded comb handle, kitchen scissor handle, etc.). Four is enough to get you through the day. Contrary to other reviews, these work again and again without any problems. No leak or activation error. Worth the price. Update: Eventually (after over a year) they started leaking.
