Material stretches without becoming transparent. I'm 5ft 4in, 145 and a size Large. The leotard is snug but not tight and the thigh area is a little loose (loosens about two toes at the end of the leg) but still acceptable as everything else is flush and flattering. I have a B or C cup depending on the type of bra and this swimsuit gives me just enough bust support. So if you're a C cup or larger, be aware that built-in bra pads and elastics can be too flexible and loose, like wearing a regular tank top or romper without a built-in - in the bra, under the bra cup, itching Little at the seam but it's not really a problem and it can stop itching after it's been through the washing machine, worn over time or held the flame on the threads for a while if you know what you're doing. Overall, it was definitely worth trying and I recommend it. I ended up returning it only because I felt it was better to buy the exact same swimsuit (google "Charmo Boyleg Suimsuit" and you'll see the exact same model Ovation).
