I ordered this item because it was the only direct replacement for my 2004 GMC Yukon. Everyone else announced that I would have to cut and splice some wires. I read reviews about it and they mostly talked about a delayed start and how the fan motor would just shut down during operation. Well, all reviews were correct. My device delayed starting when I started my car. When I parked the car, the fan kept blowing for about 5-10 seconds. (I replaced the original unit because my fan motor kept running after the car was turned off.) During operation, the fan motor just randomly shut off. In a minute or so he would be going back. Eventually I decided to replace this module with a more solid brand. Yes, I wanted to cut and splice some wires. (I emailed the company first to claim a warranty but never got a reply. I had to search the internet a bit to find out how to contact them.) I have a Delco AC Bought to replace my original module. It was a little more expensive but I had to do it first. When it arrived it was very easy to replace and cutting and splicing was easy. I got it done in about 20 minutes. This fake brand did some work and got me out of my predicament, but if I had chosen a more reputable brand to start with I wouldn't have to repeat the process. My suggestion: spend the extra money to get a good product and don't be intimidated by the cutting/splicing of the wires.
