Strong transmitters, no interference

To answer a few questions that several people including myself have asked. These AcuRite receivers will connect to the first set of transmitters they find. This means if you put batteries in a set of transmitters and then turn on the first receiver, it will connect to that first set of transmitters even if you remove the batteries from those transmitters, which is what you will do. do in the next step. The next step is to remove the batteries from the first set of transmitters and put the batteries in the second set of transmitters, then turn on the second receiver and see how it connects to the second set of transmitters. Now put the batteries back in the first set of transmitters and the first receiver will only receive data from the first set and the second receiver will only receive data from the second set, it's that simple. The second question I had was about the performance of the transmitter . I wanted these three transmitters to control my fridge/freezer and freezer in my garage. Now all three are full Faraday cages that are required by law to be grounded so don't expect really good results but the one in my freezer in the garage is about 30 feet from the receiver and will transmit through all ice, frozen foods and a grounded metal shell around the entire freezer with all signal strength gauges on the receiver at full power. I am impressed.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are shortcomings
