This is a well made grater and easy to use. Easily grate an 8-ounce block of cheese in under a minute. For those complaining about it not being sucked off, the answer might be that you did what I did in the beginning. I thought I turned the suction knob all the way up. But not like this. You need to make sure you actually turn the knob all the way (requires a bit more hand strength). Once sucked in, it won't go anywhere until you let go of the handle. I am very happy to be able to have freshly grated cheese anytime, in no time, without getting tired and without scratching my joints. No more packaged cheese for me. Now I have 3 kitchen essentials that make my life easier: the Vidalia Chop Wizard, the electric egg/steamer, and now this little grater, the grater.
