Review on Optimized Waterpik Ultra Cordless Plus Water Flosser WP450 - 1 ea by Jennifer Katz

Don't waste your time or money; Nickel metal hydride batteries are useless

My (wired) Waterpik finally died after over 8 years (there was a leak in the spiral hose from the machine to the handle) so I decided to try the wireless one one. I received it and charged it for a full 24 hours as directed and then tried it out. First, the pressure wasn't high enough, even on the "high" setting; Secondly, despite the low "high pressure" it burned through the tank in about 30-40 seconds. I was so disappointed that I put it aside to dry to return it. After about 2 weeks, when he was just lying around, I thought I'd give him a second chance. Didn't even have time to refill the print as the batteries had already lost their charge (remember fully charged 2 weeks ago, used exactly once). This is an identical replacement for the "Waterpik Ultra" I bought in 2010.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Too stupid
