I was skeptical because of the price, but we wanted a distance learning system with a fence. Not available in more expensive units as a combo. We installed it in early April and had no problems for most of the summer. A month ago the Receiver Collar would not turn off but would turn on and stay on after charging. I contacted Legend Zone via email through my Revain account and they promptly sent me a new one. Then a week ago we had a storm and the base controller stopped working. I contacted Legend Zone again and they said we needed to install a surge protector specifically for the dog fence. We ordered another controller and surge protector and everything works great again. After that email they emailed me again and said they would send one! I think they have exceeded their warranty obligations! I can definitely recommend this system! It may not be the best quality out there, but in my opinion the customer service is excellent! I installed about 2100 feet or 700 m of wire so the warning zone is only 6 to 8 feet from the fence. However, it is said that the longer the loop, the shorter the warning zone. Our dog quickly learned his limit and stays a few meters away from the warning zone. Thank you Legend Zone and Revain!
