Review on Scythe 140Mm 300 1800RPM Radiator Single by Robert Tyus

I bought this to replace the 3-pin 120mm fans that came with my case and I'm very happy with the performance. The ability to adjust the fan curve is great for maintaining a decent idle noise level, although it's not as quiet as I expected. 30-35% power is a good value before it becomes distracting. I would have given five stars if there weren't a few flaws. The included screws are nowhere near long enough to install them unless you can awkwardly slide them between two ribs on each corner of the fan. The other issue is that the fan I have makes an audible whine in the 790-810 RPM range, which isn't a big deal since I set it just above that. The final and more annoying issue is the constant clicking sound that comes and goes depending on the day. It's not noticeable at low speeds unless you put your ear to the fan, but the faster it spins, the louder and more frequent the clicks become. Most of this can be ignored with headphones, but I specifically preferred this fan over the Arctic P14 due to the noise issues some have had with it.
