I almost sent them back as I didn't expect them to be so big. I used a different floss as a kid and wanted the same for my kids. It was almost three times the size of the cubes I remember as a kid. If you can comfortably put the spoon in your mouth, that's very good. I floss less when I use it, and because it's easy, we all floss every night like we should. We use waxed thread - 1/4 of the way, I adjust the thread because it's slack but it doesn't matter, just unwrap it and then twist it back around the handle. This is MUCH more convenient than cutting your fingers and putting your fingers in your mouth, especially your molars. It's easier for my youngest who can't coordinate flossing and I don't have to put my fingers in his mouth. It takes less time. I don't always find small pieces of dental floss on the bathroom floor because they spilled or someone forgot to throw them away. Overall less waste and costs. They are very strong. I'm very glad I gave them a chance. I will not come back.
