I've had a narrow but deep spice rack since I moved into this house four years ago, and I hate it. Every time I have to take something other than the front spices, EVERYTHING has to come out. And I love spices. I have a lot of spices. I bought one of these to try and it's amazing. I am sorry. MARVELOUS. The bodice is fitted yet easy to slip on and off, and the see-through windows let you see what you're about at a glance. There is also a shake and pour hole if you don't want to remove the tops. The stickers are great too and save me the hassle of making my own labels. I place them by the side of the fridge and the low profile of the glasses keeps them out of the way. The magnets are strong enough to prevent slipping and feel firm. I can't wait to buy more and then only have liquid extracts and such in my closet. I believe they say the containers hold 3 ounces, but those are liquid ounces. The spices are much lighter, so it's probably closer to 1.5 ounces or so. (This is a standard bottle plus a bit more depending on the spice). If you are looking for a storage solution to your spice cabinet problems. Try it, you won't be disappointed. UPDATE: I bought two more sets and one of them is fine. a little wrong. The underside is not completely flat, so the magnet does not sit completely flush. Also, they're not as polished. The metal looks a bit rough. Also, when the lids were washed, water got between the plastic and the metal, and they were very difficult to dry. They still work well and are so comfortable but quality control lowers the rating. In fairness I would give the bad set two stars and the other two sets five. Second update: Some spices are clogging the jars and it is IMPOSSIBLE to open them. You can't do anything with salt. It will only rust the can. Ground cloves aren't good either. Some cans are very sticky when opened but manageable. I'd say about 85% is still working, so I won't change my 4 star rating. Just watch what you put in.
