This 15.6-inch KUMK 4K portable monitor offers crisp and clear graphics when playing 4K content through a 4K-enabled device. I connected a 4K capable mini PC and found some content on YouTube TV and I'm very happy with the picture quality on the monitor. It's also nice to have small speakers in such a portable monitor. I weighed the monitor without the magnetized cover as 1.5 lbs. And with the lid on, it weighs 2.4 pounds. Folds on the lid make it easier to use the monitor, which is tilted slightly backwards. As with Surface Pro and other tablets, the cover protects the screen. I don't think I'll be taking it on trips without a case, so the de facto weight for me is 2.4 pounds. Or at least a standard USB female-to-female adapter. I appreciate the included mini DisplayPort male to standard HDMI female cable as it covers my Surface Pro 3. When I was testing this monitor, I bought a pair of HDMI female-to-female adapters for my various dongles. video devices. No driver required. The user guide applies to both the manufacturer's 1080p monitor and this 4k monitor. This guide covers using the "scroll button" on the left to view and change the hardware screen settings in the OSD setup mode. The OSD setup screens are detailed at the end of the manual. There are diagrams for connecting the monitor to devices and power sources. There are limitations on the type of device connectors (USB-C Thunderbolt 3.0 or USB-C 3.1) that can transmit images to a USB-C port on a monitor that is not used for USB-C power delivery. The box is well filled with pockets for sockets and cables, foam is glued on top. Mine is returned in the box when not in use, except when traveling. I see no reason not to recommend this portable 4K monitor.
