Review on Wellue SleepU Wrist Sleep O2 Monitor - Wearable Finger Sensor with Smart Notifications, Shareable APP & PC Reports by Fred Boals

Excellent user interface design

I've been using the Wellue O2 monitor for a long time and I love it. It's like examining the sleep center every night. I actually have a web security camera pointed at me while I sleep and I can time sync to see my O2 readings if I'm sleeping right or left or if I'm changing my sleeping position. (Wellvue has a motion value in the software table, so I can only scan my webcam for associated motion for that time). The setup is pretty simple and straight forward. I can say that this is the only Bluetooth device that works as advertised. Once the monitor has been charged for the first time and synced to your device (I use an Apple iPad mini) with the free ViHealth software application downloaded, you are good to go. Just put it on your wrist and place the monitor sensor on your finger (I use my thumb). It doesn't bother me at all when I sleep. The device will automatically start recording your heart rate and O2 values. If you shake your wrist, the display shows the current reading for a few seconds. This is helpful for learning how different sleeping positions affect O2 levels. The next morning I just grab my iPad, open the ViHealth app and pull the touch cord off the monitor. The monitor takes a few seconds to save the data and then automatically starts a synchronized download with my iPad. This download takes about 30 seconds. Then everything is ready. You just charge your monitoring device the next night and remember to put your finger sensor in a safe place so it doesn't get lost. It really works very well. The ViHealth software will show a graph of your heart rate, O2 and movements as well as some numeric data (O2 average / heart rate / O2 minimum etc.). You can view data by day, week, month to find trends. I highly recommend it. It is well made and the process is very well thought out.
