I live in Phoenix and ordered one of these in addition to sun shirts to protect my neck and face from burns (with a sun hat and goggles). I was surprised to find that when I pushed the mask away from my mouth, the air was much hotter without a mask than with it on. For that reason I would say it's 5/5 stars. The material is stretchy and fits my head and face well, I'm 6ft tall with a large head. It also protects my ears and face from the sun, and the front neck of the mask is long enough to tuck my shirt in nicely. Unfortunately, the back is too short, and when I don't hear the sun protection sweatshirt, it rips out of the shirt and exposes the neck. So if they're doing a longer version or just starting to make that version longer in the back/neck, it would be a 5/5 overall.
