I don't think this design could be thinner in profile. It's not a big key hanging in the middle of an extension cord. I just want him to be slimmer. I would have to solder the wires and wrap them with heat shrink tubing to make them thinner. The quality is just fantastic. Each end has an o-ring on the body and a cable gland to prevent water ingress when the cables enter the body. My line is a little thicker and I had to drill a little more through the end cap to get it through. 3 screws attach copper strands to 3 hollow metal tubes. The most difficult thing is to insert all copper strands of all 3 wires into narrow hollow tubes at the same time. 1 or 2 copper strands always come out of the pipe hole. I had to cut 3 wires of slightly different lengths so I could insert 1 wire at a time without the previous one popping out. The gauge of my wire is as big as the tubes can fit, so that makes things difficult. I did not notice that there is a ground symbol mark, N and load on the case. When I've finished and soldered one end, I don't know which wire I put in which tube. I will not analyze. I had to get a meter to buzz the connection. I changed N&Load. So I have to do the same on the other end. The silicone spray makes it easier to move the cable and bushing.
