I bought these Ace shoes for my 8 month old son and I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, they look absolutely gorgeous on his plump legs, and the brown color goes with almost any outfit. On the other hand, they don't seem very comfortable to him. He wriggles and tugs at them as if they bother him. I'm not sure if it's the material, the fit, or something else, but he just doesn't seem to like wearing them. I've tried adjusting the straps and making them looser or tighter but nothing helps. I can only guess that they are either too narrow or too wide for his feet, or maybe the soles are too hard. At the same time, the quality of the Ace sneakers is very good. Stitching is clean and even, fabrics are soft and durable, and the overall design is attractive. I also appreciate that they come in different sizes so I can easily upgrade to a larger pair as my son outgrows them. Overall I would give the Ace sneakers 3 stars out of 5, they are cute and well made but not very comfortable for my kid. I would recommend them to other parents with caution about the fit.
