The 9V batteries themselves work well. Revane's packaging was irresponsible. The 9V batteries were placed in the sleeve shown in the photo with no additional packaging or tape to prevent the plastic case from detaching from the substrate. As you can see in the photo all 2 9 volt batteries connect the contacts very easily resulting in a brief and possible explosion or fire. It cannot have happened during transport. And what about the unsuspecting homeowner who leaves the package on the counter to linger at home later? Regular AA batteries wouldn't be as dangerous as the + and - poles would not match, causing a short circuit. AA batteries in the same envelope remained intact. Neither the envelope nor its contents were damaged or crushed. There is simply no excuse other than improper packaging. Very dangerous‼️
