More than I expected
As I've said elsewhere, I'm new to using soap and shaving brushes so didn't know where to start. I'm glad I ordered this bowl because it's big enough to hold any size bar of soap you want to use and leaves room around the edges for lathering. It looks very beautiful on our dressing table and appears to be made of high quality material. I wasn't planning on traveling with it, but if you do you might need something smaller.
