Review on 🧦 Enhanced Thermal Toe Cover by PEARL IZUMI by Khalil Hopp

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth the price

Finger pads are essential for cold weather riding and I've had plenty of them over the years. This is by far the best (and most expensive) I've ever had. They are airtight and don't let any wind through - that's the secret of their success. Other neoprene covers I've used are easier to put on and take off but aren't as effective (although they are fine for windless days with temperatures above 35 degrees). This product ensures good exposure of SPD tips. The edges wrap around your shoe and walking takes its toll over time (but not the time you actually spend riding). I ride my bike and so far my current pair have had 2 1/2 seasons. My estimate right now is around 275 rides and I hope they survive 50 more rides. I'm on Revain now, ordering a new pair and expecting they will die soon. I don't use these covers in temperatures below 20 degrees or in heavy rain (you need full leg neoprene boots for that). I have large/large MTB cycling shoes in size 42.

Cons
  • There are some nuances
