I've preferred toothbrushes with "hard" (or "stiff") bristles since I was a kid - at a time when the official recommendation was "Use the hardest bristles you can handle - and I did." spent some time using brushes with "hard" bristles "bristles (which didn't cause bleeding gums, etc.) Many years later, the American Dental Association (ADA) determined that toothbrushes with "soft" or "" medium" bristles are preferable and "hard" "stubble" were not allowed". As a result, it became increasingly difficult to find "hard" toothbrushes. The toothbrushes that survived were labeled "Made in Guatemala" Bubble wrap which does not look like the one pictured (which looks like the US packaging which is the same as the packaging shown on the US Colgate website because it was smaller than expected but also because it seems more flexible than similar ones brushes in which ic h I also noticed immediately that the brush felt slippery, as if there was still some liquid on the handle. After thorough rinsing, the feeling of smoothness diminished somewhat and persisted even after several thorough mouth rinses. (The aroma was very unpleasant.) In conclusion, my impression of the "hard" bristles was that they weren't particularly hard. In fact, a while ago I had purchased Colgate toothbrushes with "soft" bristles C----o that actually felt stiffer than the bristles on this brush. That's why I gave this brush a 1 star rating. I don't like pr product and I won't buy it again.
