I have security keys on my Explorer. My old lock is broken. So I bought this one hoping it would fit and I could modify it to fit my original keys. Well it worked like a charm and couldn't have been easier. I just disassembled both cylinders and replaced all the washers. My old key still works and I saved a lot of money by not buying the chip version.
