This is a pair of white LED crystals behind the projector lens. The housings are threaded for a standard drum hole, making them easy to assemble. They draw about 30mA at 12.0VDC and behave as if they had resistive current control and not chip control, with the current rising to 13.8V. They are very bright. Although used as non-automotive panel lights I'm very happy that they work great as emergency lights with 12v batteries. The lead wires are very small so soldering the leads directly to the PCB (with a fuse) is a sensible way to connect them . For the price, these lamps can be a good lighting product. I can't say anything about durability yet. I've marked "easy to install" because of the tiny lead wires.
