The product comes exactly as in the photo, with quick assembly, yes the large size is very small as mentioned in other reviews. This makes sense for guppies or other fish of a similar size but not larger. I would recommend putting the entire block in a mesh multiplier. I did this for extra protection which was a good decision as I raised over half the juveniles outside of this plastic hatchery but were still kept in the net hatchery. The side and bottom slots are definitely big enough for the eggs/fries to get through. But the product keeps the mother from eating the babies.
