Bought because I have a small bedroom and a new bed that takes up most of the space. This made it possible to dispense with a stand. Very durable. Trust me I've banged my head on the glass shelves a few times and they haven't moved, my head is on the other side. Installation takes a little while, but if you've got the knack, it probably won't be a problem. We definitely needed 2 people, not sure if 1 could do it alone. Overall it wasn't difficult, it gives you a ton of extra hardware for different TVs, and you end up with a ton of extra stuff. I liked that the TV mount is separate from the shelf so you can customize the space you need.
