Review on πŸ“Š Supco VG60 Electronic Vacuum Gauge: Accurate Micron Measurements and LED Display by Mark Lodge

Revainrating 1 out of 5

SUPCO VG60 good for electrics

I had such a cheap Supco VG60 micron a few years ago and even then it was junk. I have owned it for less than a year and it has always been well cared for. It has never been over-pressurized or contaminated with oil. One day when I was using it to check the vacuum on a new recovery cylinder I was evacuating it gave me inaccurate and erratic readings and then showed nothing below Atmospheric [ATM] on the dial. I've tried replacing the battery, cleaning the sensor with alcohol, and adjusting the calibration screw, but I couldn't get it to work properly again. Since then I have never bought electronic test equipment from Supco again. I still use their relays, capacitors and other similar products.
