Poor product quality

Wow, quality standards have gone down at Supco. The latches on the door compartment broke on first use. The connectors on the nine-volt battery are so thin that they have to be constantly tightened with pliers.

SUPCO VG60 good for electrics

I had such a cheap Supco VG60 micron a few years ago and even then it was junk. I have owned it for less than a year and it has always been well cared for. It has never been over-pressurized or contaminated with oil. One day when I was using it to check the vacuum on a new recovery cylinder I was evacuating it gave me inaccurate and erratic readings and then showed nothing below Atmospheric [ATM] on the dial.
