Latch Too Small - Training Lines

The cord is flimsy for air travel (its size is 1/4 inch), but it is listed up to 150#. The locking hole is small (1/2 inch). is quite small. Not sure if it will withstand 150# dog or tension. It's too small for my dog's collar ring. My pinky is behind the snap as a size reference. It has a coating that protects it from rust and abrasion.
