Review on Dunham Dark Brown Lexington Athletic Men's Shoes for Men by Robert Worlds

Revainrating 4 out of 5

4.5* Great for me but might be too tight for someone else.

I wear a size 10, D to fit orthotics and I have a narrow left heel and this last feature makes it difficult for me to find the right shoes. Mostly the left heel slips. I have ordered 5 shoes through Revain.Com and Zappos.com which she bought a few years ago including big name brands like Ecco, Dansko, Rockport and Drew. They were all well made, but only the Dunhams were narrow enough to fit well. It fits me exceptionally well, but may be too tight for many. For people like me, this could be the shoe you've been looking for. The upper left side of the shoe was too tight and hit my pinky toe, but loosened up after about 3-4 weeks; I'm very glad I kept them. They are durable with a good grip and I love the look of them. I also got used to multicolored laces, but they could always be replaced with something else. Arched support is fair; I would try wearing them with orthotics if you need extra support. I think this is a good casual shoe that compares very well to others in the $100-$150 price range. A NOTICE. I recently discovered that five years after breaking this toe, I had a sore toe that has been linked to MTP degeneration. Dunhams may use flat hard orthopedic insoles. However, my doctor recommended the softer and stiffer Hoka One One brand shoes for my condition (not this shoe) and I expect to switch between them and wear this shoe.

Pros
  • Rubber outsole
Cons
  • Corduroy shorter than others
