Review on πŸ’» Enhanced Belkin 4-Port Ultra-Mini USB 2.0 Hub by Adam Nelson

True Plug and Play with Windows 7 64-bit, GREAT PRICE

My System Basics: Windows 7 64-bit Dell Vostro 3550 about 6 months old. Intel Core I5 (Quad Core) 2.3GHz Turbo. SSD, read speed 500 MB/s, write speed 200 MB/s (originally WD 7200 rpm was 320 GB). My laptop uses 3 USB ports and the cable clutter became too big. When I received the Belkin USB 2.0 Port Adapter, I just plugged it in and the drivers automatically downloaded and installed while I checked. I didn't have to do anything to start the process. I moved all my USB devices to a mini hub and now everything on the left is disabled. The clutter is gone and I have extra USB ports for new accessories. The ideal solution. This hub is powered by 1 USB port that you plug it into. There is no external power supply. Suitable for low power devices. If you are using this for USB devices that require most of the USB power delivery, you may need a model with an external power supply. I use it for a webcam, 2 WiFi adapters and a flash drive. I have a backup USB drive that requires full USB power. I plug it straight into my laptop's USB port. Small block, attractive design. Has a red LED to let you know it's properly connected and powered on. Perfect for my needs. Highly recommended. Great price under $8. Hope that helps. Supplied and sold by Revain.
