Great portable connection

This is the second Belkin mini hub we have purchased. Very reliable and offers excellent device connectivity. The employer I currently work for recently ordered us to return to the office after a virtual stay due to Covid. While waiting for an HP dock to be ordered at work, Belkin let me connect a wired keyboard, mouse, display, and headset to my company laptop. What a life saver!

CONNECTED?: Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I bought this Multiport USB Hub to relieve the tedious task of plugging and unplugging USB devices into a limited number of laptop ports. My only negative comment on this hub is that not all devices are recognized by my laptop, as opposed to a direct connection through one of the laptop's ports. It's like a hit and miss phrase. But I have purchased other Belkin products and have always been satisfied.

Belkin F5U407 Incredibly Reliable USB Hub

I've been using this particular model of the Belkin F5U407 Gray USB Hub for 7.5 years, of which it has lasted about 7 years. A mouse (multiple models, 1000 Hz polling rate, no lag), a keyboard (multiple models, mainly Apple keyboard), a Steinberg eLicenser/Syncrosoft dongle and an iLok dongle (formerly v1, now v2) are always connected. I haven't had a single problem with it on either Windows 7 or Windows 10. So I got another one to back up, although I don't expect it to break anytime soon as…

Keep your USB/computer out of the reach of children! Order It!

I take it everywhere! My family keeps destroying my USB port on my computer, so I plug that in and plug it into the computer (hello Duck Tape!), and the kids aren't allowed to use that device to connect anything other than just anything. Save your computer! Order it now! Check out the photos below. I have two of these houses. One on my laptop and one on my PC. Pictured is my laptop. This one was with me everywhere! Thrown in my bag, in my wallet, taped all over my laptop. I've had it for many…

True Plug and Play with Windows 7 64-bit, GREAT PRICE

My System Basics: Windows 7 64-bit Dell Vostro 3550 about 6 months old. Intel Core I5 (Quad Core) 2.3GHz Turbo. SSD, read speed 500 MB/s, write speed 200 MB/s (originally WD 7200 rpm was 320 GB). My laptop uses 3 USB ports and the cable clutter became too big. When I received the Belkin USB 2.0 Port Adapter, I just plugged it in and the drivers automatically downloaded and installed while I checked. I didn't have to do anything to start the process. I moved all my USB devices to a mini hub and…

Works well but the cable is too short

I bought this USB hub to use with my Macbook Pro. As a USB hub, it fits my Macbook Pro perfectly, absolutely no connection problems and all ports work perfectly. The problem is that the cable is too short. The cable that connects to the computer is only about **5 inches** long, and to me that negates the usefulness of a USB hub. I'm not even sure I can think of a situation where such a short line would be beneficial. I take my laptop to work almost every day and I wanted to use this device to…

Short and sweet like this product.

I bought a Dell computer about a year ago and it only came with three USB adapters. Now that I have all the electronics I've had for a few days, it's really difficult for me to reconnect and reconnect every plug every time I use it. I wanted to see if there was a way to split a USB input into several and that's what I came up with. It's a lot cheaper than what I've seen here at Revain and works great. Saying it works great doesn't give you much perspective, so I'll tell you that. I manage to…

  • Some Cons

I have an iMac with 4 USB ports on the back. Now that I have an iPad, iPod Touch, Kindle, backup computer hard drive, etc., 4 ports wasn't enough for my needs. After reading the description of this product it seemed ideal for use with a laptop computer. Since it doesn't include a power cord, I was afraid it wouldn't work for the devices I intended to use it for. I was wrong. When I unpacked it, I simply unplugged one of the devices that was plugged into the back of my Mac and plugged in that…

A fine USB 2.0 mini hub

This Belkin USB 2.0 4-Port Ultra Mini Hub (F5U407) isn't perfect (what is?), but it offers great performance, especially for the price and value . My situation is somewhat unique. I have an OPPO BDP-93 Universal Network 3D Blu-ray Disc Player with two USB 2.0 ports, one on the front of the device and one on the back. The rear port is mainly used for connecting a Wi-Fi antenna (powered from the USB port), which is necessary if, like me, you use Wi-Fi to connect your Oppo to the internet. The…
