Review on 🖼️ A4 Portable LED Light Box Trace: LITENERGY Light Pad USB Power LED Artcraft Tracing Light Table for Artists, Drawing, Sketching, and Animation by Kendrick Dooley

My trusty old Logan lightbox got knocked and broke. Rather than spend a lot of money to replace it I decided to try one of the LED tracing boxes that I had advertised so much on Revain. Bought one for $15 but it had clear glass (plastic) and the LED matrix was visible in every detail. Terrible for viewing slides so I sent it back. But this one is definitely a Guardian! The glass is translucent white and I can't see the individual LEDs at all, even at maximum brightness. The color is a bit colder than ideal, but for details like that I can check the image after scanning and adjust it on the computer. This light box is quite bright and has a stepless dimmer. It's thin, light and very easy to use. Slides and negs can be seen very well on it. The light is even and evenly distributed. So for a few bucks I got a useful lightbox that costs a fraction of one of the big slideshow clunkers. I can't say how long it will last, but it looks solid enough. Plugs into computer USB port and I think but not sure it will work with my phone charger. I'm so pleased with this device that it's the first time I've included photos in a review. The first two are when the device is powered on. The light is actually a bit brighter, but I used fill flash to take the photos. The third photo is with the block off. The lightbox came without a stand or legs, which would have been nice. And for viewing slides, it would be useful to use a sliding edge for the bottom rim so the slides don't slide off when the box is tilted. But these are secondary points. I am very satisfied with this product. Provided it lasts for some time, this is a lot. Definitely recommended for viewing slides and negs.
