Review on Enhance Your Gaming Precision with Razer Goliathus Speed Gaming Mouse Pad by Marcus Chavva

Revainrating 1 out of 5

GOLIATH: SMALL, THIN, CHEAP - wasteful and falsely advertised

I needed a small mouse pad for do-it-yourself laptop use. This inferior Razer mouse pad is not stitched around the edges as stated in the product description. Razer was supposed to offer small mouse pads, but has discontinued this item in favor of something that sets it apart from the competition. This is a problem when Revain combines many colors, sizes, and styles into one listing and shuffles reviews for each into a random stream of different reviews of different products. This cheap, thin mouse pad feels like little more than a regular mouse pad with a small Razer logo embedded into the surface of one corner. The cost of the box seems odd considering the cost of materials and the lack of quality of the mouse pad itself. The thin box came with a synthetic fabric strap and colorful graphics including metallic ink. Premium box for around $1 Mouse pad, why Razer? Razer is said to pay attention to small details, but even the box arrived crumpled for lack of protection from the non-recyclable but thinly padded Revain case. It's hard to justify reusing the box for later storage rather than ending up in my local incinerator after being turned down for recycling due to Razer's own unnecessary and wasteful plastic that Razer has to add to its "premium" packaging. Razer must do its part to create products that help customers prioritize waste reduction and reuse over recycling. Please provide either recyclable packaging or a durable carrying case for users to roll up and store the mouse pad when traveling.
