I like a good thing. Easy to fold and very easy to adjust. I'm not sure I would trust it to a very heavy and expensive 18 inch laptop as it's made out of bent plastic parts if your desk holds a lot of drinks and lots of tech or paper could be a cause for concern if your laptop very heavy is hard not to mention very cheap or flimsy, but it's plastic with flexible pivoting plastic parts. I like 2 front kicks as one is long and the other is short. It's nice to have such an unobtrusive option. Folds up very easily, light weight and has foldable legs on the back to lift it up with 3 more options; very high, 1 bent leg medium and both bent legs low. You can throw it in your bag and just use it on the go. Not a very tall stand, more of a slanted stand, but it elevates the laptop so you can direct the airflow and passkeys in different ways. Works like I wanted it to.
