I'm actually very glad it's there as fires and power outages are happening right now. My electricity went out just last night. While the LED is very bright. The funk aspect of this works great. I think the mix of reviews is just due to geography. Sound quality is generally excellent and radio stations are easy to find, at least for me. The build quality is reliable. However, if you have monkey strength, be more careful with the handle and antenna. I know people who are rude about everything, get frustrated and blame whatever they broke for the break lol. I also like the design. It's minimalist and the color scheme resembles a bumblebee. Not just any ugly yellow, but yellow that complements the black. Aside from the radio, light, and hand crank, I have a few other features to try. It was just what I thought was the most important thing so far. I will edit later.
