Review on 🎧 Retevis Walkie Talkie Earpiece Boom Mic: Overhead Headphone with VOX PTT Headset Microphone (1 Pack) by Adam Madden

I didn't want to spend $100 on headphones for my UV-5R so I decided to give it a try. They work, I hear quite loudly out of both headphones and the claimed mic sound from the headset I'm told is no worse and no better than the built in UV-5R mic. For the few times I anticipate needing them, I think they will suffice. In the packaging, they appear to be curved so the right ear is tucked in a bit more than the right ear, resulting in an odd fit. Since they are hard plastic and the headband is soldered into the plastic there is little I can do other than try to straighten it in the opposite direction. The boom microphone is easy to unfold and bend in all directions. Overall, the workmanship fits the price - you don't get 100€ headphones for 20€, but they do what they are supposed to and cost me quite a bit. Part of the price "amateur" headset.
