I bought two of these fans to accommodate the stock 4 inch fan and the standard fanless vent in my 40 foot 5. Car to be replaced from the year 2019. Steering wheel. I installed them myself and each took about 2 hours. Most of the time was spent just cleaning the original overlap seal that sealed the original vent and fan. I followed the instructions and first put a strip of butyl tape under the fan flange, then screwed it to the roof (all screws included) and applied some Dycor Self-Leveling Lap Sealant as shown in the installation guide. I used about 3/4 tube of sealant for each fan and about 5 feet of butyl tape for each fan. I bought the version of the fan without the remote control as both fans are easily accessible from the car. I've had them installed for a month now and they've worked both the exhaust and intake during heavy thunderstorms with no water ingress issues. They are definitely a high capacity and even with winds in excess of 45mph this week they have continued to be deflated and not re-inflated the bus.
