Review on ๐Ÿ”ช The Ultimate Morakniv Allround Multi-Purpose Fixed Blade Knife: Sandvik Stainless Steel Blade, 8.1-Inch, Black by Leroy Stanton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great as an all-purpose kitchen knife; Excellent value for money

Although advertised as an outdoor knife, this 8.1 inch knife is great for the home kitchen. It's very sharp and cuts through meat and vegetables with ease, a delight for what I usually consider a fairly mundane task. The knife is thick enough to be strong, thin enough to slice easily and long enough to slice through an entire ham or roast. The clip tip seems more suited to a camping or combat knife, but allows the knife to make precise cuts when removing small bits of fat from meat, for example. I bought this knife as a gift for my dad who does commercial BBQs as well as a 5.8 inch and a 3.6 mora knife. The idea was that he could use the big 8.1โ€ for slicing brisket and ribs and the other two for smaller tasks like trimming fat, but he prefers these two because they still allow him to do precise work. . He now uses the 8.1 inch knife almost exclusively instead of all his other knives. At the current Revain price of around $27, this is an absolute bargain for a European-made razor-sharp knife. A chef's knife of the same quality and utility will cost you at least $100. I promise you won't regret buying this knife!
