Just watch out for the leash. As soon as I opened the door, my dog saw the deer and ran after it. As she ran, the leash went with her, leaving me with what appeared to be a burn on my fingers. We live in a country where one of my dogs goes off the leash because he doesn't leave our territory. My other dog runs away so he needs to be leashed when we go outside. This gives her more freedom and allows her to explore more than a regular dog leash. I would buy it again. For less than $20 it was worth every penny. Just be careful how you hold it if your dog wants to make a quick getaway as soon as the door opens.
