Review on Morinbo Lid Stay – 105 Degree Open with Soft Close | Lid Support for Toy Box and Flap Doors | Easy Install (Pack of 2) by John Ortiz

Includes a small drawing showing how and where the two hinged end brackets attach to the lid and inner wall of a drawer or dresser. The chart is very confusing. There are 2 sets of instructions to open 90 degrees or 105 degrees. I wanted 90 degrees, but within those directions there were multiple distances from the edge of the tree. I tried my best and it wouldn't close. I moved it and then it slowly closed almost completely, slamming down the last 30 degrees. I moved it back and it works. (You'll need to set the bottom lower than you think so the hinge doesn't collapse all the way when you close it. The bottom should also be a lot closer to the lid than the instructions say.) Hence the 3 stars. It works but it was very difficult to install and through trial and error there were holes in my tree that I now need to fill. Oh, and my rig only opens to about 80 or 85 degrees. I didn't want to keep drilling holes and guessing at placement so I could live with that.
