Review on BELTRON Leather Fitted Kyocera Verizon by Terry Paige

My wife recently swapped out her clamshell for a new Kyocera clamshell due to AT&T's turn to move to 4G. She saw this suitcase and asked me to order it. It looks pretty good and appears to be well made, but I warn potential customers that you'll have to struggle a bit to fit the phone into the case. You can put your phone in and pull the flip top cover off, but once it snaps it won't close, it's too tight. I put my phone down and tried again, hoping it would stretch a bit. It's gotten a little better, but still won't close. I slipped a thin screwdriver under the strap and slowly pulled the top down - this effectively shortened the strap allowing the phone to work in the case. It still wasn't enough, so I took the hair dryer and gently blew hot air on the clear plastic parts, closed it, and that calmed it down enough to land the phone. If you do this, be careful as I don't know how much force the phone's hinge takes when you push it in, I was slow and careful. Being genuine cowhide leather I would expect it to stretch a bit over time. We were a little dismayed at the few sound holes for the mic, but a test call showed it worked well. I can't speak to durability until it's been on for a while.
