
I wouldn't recommend this thing unless it really works as intended after you tweak it a bit. I'll get straight to the point. If you want this to work you need to connect the white "lamp" wire to a reliable 12V source as I showed in my poor drawing for this device to work. It only works properly when there is 12V applied to the red and white wires. Also if you have trouble turning it on, gently pry up the plastic head and find the gold trigger wire and make sure it sticks out like a spring It's touching the part you press on the outside with your finger when you do everything reassemble. If none of these tips help, then I'm sorry. But I've been having a hard time with mine and I finally figured it out so I thought it might help you all. good luck there
