The cat avoided the mat. Disaster followed
Product design is excellent, it was easy to wash. However, the hard plastic surface, with all its bulges and holes, was so uncomfortable for my cat's paws that she avoided stepping on the mat and never discarded it. Instead, despite 17 years of training and habits, she poops on the floor and on a new mat. Fail!
