Was a good hitch until it broke in half while my husband was driving 65 on Interstate. The weight of the load was well below the maximum carrying capacity. Loaded with 5,000 pounds while towing a 3,500 pound trailer, the towed trailer weighed 800 pounds with a 1,410 pound load. We bought it in May and it lasted us until yesterday. Luckily no one was injured and our goods in the trailer were unharmed. Buying another one will be very difficult. Not broken at stud or during welding. The tube came off right at the bumper.
