Pumice sucks, the file is amazing.

Pumice removes *a little* dead skin from the surface in the shower while the skin is wet, but I find it pointless. It's too hard to see where the dry skin is when the skin is so wet. The file works well for my hands and feet from climbing calluses. I rub the file with soap and a small nail brush to clean it after use.
