This switch does not work with USB 3.x devices. It works like a USB 2.0 switch with no problems. These are the different configurations I've tested to get this working with Logitech Brio over USB 3.0: * USB3 device -> switch (powered and unpowered) -> USB3 PC port (Intel Z97, Asmedia, Lenovo laptop, Dell docking stations TB16) : All this resulted in USB cycling/reconnect* USB3 device -> USB3 hub with power supply -> Switch (powered and non-powered) -> USB3 port for PC (Intel Z97, Asmedia, Lenovo laptop, Dell TB16 docking station): All caused the USB to cycle disconnect/reconnect Each USB2 device in the chain e.g. B. using the USB2 port on the host computer will "fix" the problem at the expense of USB3 speed. Because I want USB 3.0 speeds, I'm back. I may have received a faulty product, but I just don't have time to try a different one before moving on to a more proven product. Too bad, I like the direct connection selection on the remote control and on the device itself.
