The card appears to be working as expected but stops working every two weeks. I don't know if it's a camera or a card or how I just put it in without formatting. Will update when I clarify what the actual problem is. Simply insert and remove the card and recording will resume where it left off. I downgraded the rating to 4 stars because I don't know if the card itself is causing this issue. I've read other reviews that have more formatting and usage issues when buying a different manufacturer's card. Not to mention problems with continuous recording. I sincerely assume WYZE understands that most people will be ordering cards for their cameras so no formatting is required. That's why I ordered the Wyze SD card. It was easy to use, opened the package, inserted it into the bottom of the camera without formatting, and recognized the card immediately. He made a few beeps and started recording. You don't have to be a techie to use it. In my experience, other cards are a bit more difficult for those unfamiliar with SD card formatting. It's good that you don't have to do this. I haven't had to take out the card to download content yet, I use the app for that. However, using an adapter is not a problem. I can't confirm what type of file is uploaded as an entry. The price is comparable to others but I wish it was a little cheaper as we order our own camera. Loyalty has to come with some kind of discount.
