I normally wear barefoot type shoes, but was looking for something, should I say, more sturdy, for the hikes that I do. I have to admit, these were adjustment for me to wear after wearing barefoot type shoes, however they are exceedingly comfortable, and have a very nice wide toe box. I've been hiking a few times in them since I received these, and really like them. They are somewhat clunky looking, but I've convinced myself that they don't look as clunky as I think I do. I didn't have any breaking in period whatsoever. I'm able to navigate both flat surfaces and hills with ease.These are very well made, and I believe that they will last me a very long time. I consider them well worth the cost. Highly recommended.
