Sound can be quite loud. But there is slight distortion at maximum volume. Although it's a little louder than my phone, I still can't make out some details (e.g. a conversation) when I leave the speaker in front of the shower door due to the water noise in the shower. I've used it several times in the shower. But now I use it outside because it would be a hassle to clean it after every shower. Also, the battery life seems pretty short for the size. I'm used to my Bluetooth headphones working up to 40 hours. So maybe my expectations are a bit distorted. After a few showers I had to recharge. It would be great if you had to charge less often.
