I bought Samsung for my gas oven because it took more than an hour to heat up to 450 degrees and the burners "pulsed" when the oven heated up. I checked online and found it could be an igniter problem in the oven. This particular item has a plug that is used in a Samsung oven so it was basically plug and play. The hardest part of the installation was getting to where the detonator is. The stove is over 10 years old which means the screws were tightly welded. With a little WD-40 and a little patience and effort I managed to get into the compartment by stripping just one screw. Once I got to the heater element, all I had to do was loosen the two screws that attached the igniter to the heater element and that was it. This part took a total of 5 minutes. The total time for replacing the igniter was less than an hour. It was definitely worth doing it yourself and not involving a person. After the swap, it took less than 10 minutes to get to the 450, whereas it used to take over an hour.
